Golf Training Aids – Medicus Golf Club

Medicus Golf Club Training Device

The golf industry has taken a new movement in the 21st century. There are thousands of companies marketing golf training aids these days.

The reason behind this would have to be that the majority of golfers today are average golfers. These golfers cannot afford the expensive lessons from the golf pro’s, so most turn to training aids in which they can watch a video and use a device which will help improve the mechanics of their game. These inexpensive replacements for actual lessons can be good and bad, depending on the traing aid you choose.

With so many products on the market which one do you want to invest in? Here is a detailed list of some the best training aid products out there.

1. Leaderboard – A product use by over 40 Tour Pro’s like Stuart Appleby, K.J. Choi, Adam Scott, Zack Johnson, and many more. It helps you build core strength, increases your fitness level and power, and helps you develop a solid, repeatable golf swing which you can take to the course. The Leaderboard will train your body to make consistent golf swings that have increased power and accuracy.

2. Practice Like The Pro’s – A four DVD set with expert advice from professional golfers on how to improve your scores by improving your short game. The four disc set includes short game tips, analysis of your "scoring clubs", key mental strategies, and easy to follow 20 minute pre game routine. This training tool DVD set finally reveals some of the secrets which the pro’s use to score low and maximize their chance for success in the "scoring zone".

3. P3ProSwing Golf Swing Analyzer and Simulator – This training aid allows golfers of all ages and skill levels to practice the game they love in the comfort of their own home. The P3ProSwing is unlike a lot of swing analyzers on the market today. With 65 infrared sensors located directly in impact zone of the golf shot, it gives you instant feedback on your ball distance, club speed, swing path angle, club face angle, and more. With different packages and price ranges the P3ProSwing can be utilized by both amateurs and seasoned veterans of the game.

4. Medicus Dual Hinge Driver - This revolutionary product is unlike alot of hinged golf club training tools. With the Medicus you can actually hit golf balls and see instant feedback on the range. It is made up of a driver with a patented dual hinge on the shaft. The Medicus driver teaches you to swing in tempo and on plane. When you swing the driver it will hinge when you make the smallest of mistakes. When you make a good swing the driver will stay together and you will be able to make contact with ball. You can see improvements in your swing in a very short amount of time.

The products listed are some of the most popular and highly rated golf training products on the market. While these products do not replace a professional golf lesson they will help make an average golfer’s score drop in no time and all products are very affordable.

Golf Training Equipment That Every Golfer Should Have

Medicus Golf Club – Essential Golf Training Equipment

If there is one thing that everybody who golfs has in common, it’s that they would like to be able to play a great game. Many of us invest a considerable amount of money on golf training equipment in order to accomplish just that. The fact of the matter is, however, there are so many of these training aids on the market that it can be difficult to choose the one that will work the best for you. Here are a few suggestions.

If you are trying to improve on your drive, one of the best pieces of golf training equipment that you can get is the hinged driver, often referred to as the Medicus driver. This is really a simple piece of golf equipment but it is amazing how well it helps us to learn to swing properly. The shaft of the club is hinged and if you do not swing the club properly, the hinge will come loose and you will instantly know it. This is one of the perfect pieces of golf training equipment to help you get used to swinging away at the ball.

If you are interested in improving your short game, there is some golf training equipment which will specifically do this as well. These include everything from simple contraptions that reduce the size of the hole to trainers which teach you to swing the putter squarely. Since most games are really played at or near the green, this is certainly one part of your training that you don’t want to overlook.

It’s amazing what a difference a relatively small investment in the right golf training equipment can make to how well a golfer performs on the green. The right gear can make each practice session more productive and enjoyable.

What is a Dual Hinge Driver?

What is Medicus dual hinge driver?

Today, we have part two (of seven) of the Medicus dual hinge driver break point series, #2 is the toe up position.

To bring you up to date, the Medicus dual hinge driver is a golf swing training club that obviously has dual hinges. These hinges allow the training club to break down when you don`t follow the correct golf swing path.

You can take this golf training aid to the practice range and it will give you immediate feedback if you are not swinging properly. You can hit balls all day long and you will never know what mistakes you are making. With this golf training aid you will know immediately! It`s maybe the best golf swing training aid on the market today.

The Medicus dual hinge driver can be used indoors or out, at home, on the range, or on the course. It improves all aspects of your swing, from the takeaway to the downswing to the follow through.

There are seven break points in the golf swing that the Medicus dual hinge driver will check for and respond with a hinge break if you make a mistake. It is actually an odd feeling when you swing improperly and the club hinges. It`s like, what is that? You immediately know something is wrong and you can correct it right away! Where else can you get that kind of instant feedback unless you hire Butch Harmon?

We started with #1, the take away, and are now are up to #2, the toe position.

Here are some common faults that appear in break point #2 (each of these faults would create a hinge break):

A. Weight transferred to the left instead of the right (reverse pivot).

B. Over-rotation of hands, causing the clubface to travel too far inside (not enough rotation is also a problem).

C. Continuation of B above.

D. Right elbow pushed away from the right hip and the club lifted outside the target line.

Any of these swing faults sound familiar?

There are so many ways that you can use your Medicus dual hinge driver to improve your golf game. I look forward to bringing you break point #3.

How to use Medicus cut off 10 stroke?

Medicus Golf Review – Cutting off your stroke!

This is a series of articles the goal of which is to help golfers improve their game by a significant number of strokes using various Medicus products and following the advice given in the articles.

But first we need to set some baselines. It may not be out of the question for a golfer who normally shoots 100 to improve his/her game by 10 strokes and start averaging 90. Of course this would be a huge improvement, and any golfer who shoots these kinds of scores would probably be thrilled with improvement that is half that good.

It is another thing to take a golfer who averages 80 and have him shave off 10 stokes and start averaging 70. That is asking way too much, and we start to enter into the realm of being ridiculous. However, if that golfer were to shave 2-4 strokes off his score consistently, that would also be huge, and it might be doable.

So although the 10 stroke improvement goal is somewhat of a moving target, this series of articles will be geared for the player who shoots 100 and wants to shoot 90.

medicus golf training device

Why an improvement of 10 strokes, and not 5 strokes, for example? Well a double digit improvement would be huge if attainable, and the number is rather dramatic and has some shock impact, I think. After all, even if our fictional player were to improve by 5 strokes he would no doubt be thrilled. But the chance of improving by 10 strokes the score of a player who typically shoots 100 might be enough motivation to have him give it a try.

There is another caveat that is important. The player needs to be able to hit the ball a reasonable distance with a driver. In today’s world that would be about 250 yards for men, and about 210 yards or so for women. With today’s high tech drivers, this is really not that much distance.

They don’t have to hit every shot that far (I’m sure they don’t if they are shooting 100 or more), but they should have the strength to do so. If players have the strength and ability to hit a ball that far, they can possibly reach almost all par 4′s they are likely to play in two shots.

I’m assuming that players who can hit drives that far are hitting them off the fairway and into trouble a lot of the time, or oftentimes just don’t hit the ball solidly.

If the reason a player is shooting 100 is that he or she is now an octogenarian and can no longer hit the ball very far, his chances of improvement are certainly lowered. He or she can, however, possibly make big improvements in the area of putting.

And putting is where we will start. We’ll begin with the Medicus putter training aid, which comes free, by the way, with the purchase of a Medicus driver. The main strategy here is to eliminate 3 putts. In particular we’ll use some fun practice games that have been dreamed up by the famous short game guru, Dave Pelz.

These games will help golfers to putt the ball the proper distance. And, by the way, do you know what the proper distance to hit a putt is? Here’s the answer: 19 inches past the hole. Dave Pelz determined that more putts have a chance to go in the hole if they are struck with a force strong enough to make the ball go 19 inches past the hole.

Like many things in life, saying you should hit a putt 19 inches past the hole and actually doing that are two different things. We’ll get into those details in the first article of the series.

After working and improving our putting by 5 strokes a round, we’ll go after the final 5 strokes using the Medicus dual hinge driver and the Medicus Power Maximus (Medicus Power Max), which is a weighted driver training aid.

This means you will have to purchase two Medicus clubs. OK, they are a bit expensive, but if you could really improve your game by up to 10 strokes, most golfers would consider the price a bargain. And remember, the Medicus putter trainer comes free with a purchase of the Medicus driver. Not only that but you can test drive the Medicus driver for 30 days for only about 40 bucks, and there is an overall 60 day money back guarantee. You can check all this out by clicking here:

There is one caveat to all this: if you want to cut strokes off your golf score, you’re going to have to put in some effort! If it shocks you that I can’t offer some sort of a magic pill to take which instantaneously cuts 10 strokes off your game, then you might as well not read the rest of the articles in the series. You will have to work and you will have to practice. But there is no reason that practicing can’t be fun, especially using Medicus products.

So click the link below to access the articles in this series. As stated, we’ll begin with putting.

How Does the Medicus Trainer Facilitate the Stack and Tilt Golf Swing?

How Medicus Trainer Golf Club can improve Stack and Tilt Golf Swing

Medicus Dual Hinge 7 Iron Medicus is chosen by golf pros as top swing trainer club in the world. Try now!

This article will explain how the Medicus trainer golf club facilitates the famous Stack and Tilt golf swing that has been very popular in recent years. In fact about a couple of dozen PGA Tour pros have adopted this swing technique. But first of all we need to discuss what the Stack and Tilt golf swing is and subsequently what are its advantages and disadvantages.

The Stack and Tilt Golf Swing

In a nutshell, the Stack and Tilt golf swing advocates that a golfer’s weight should remain toward the front and not shift to the back during the swing. Another way to look at it is that the head should remain in the same place during the swing. Some golfers have the tendency to "sway" during the golf swing, and in fact this works for some players. But it can only be effective if the golfer can have his club hit the ground at the right spot consistently and if the proper weight transfer occurs which will allow the player to hit the ball squarely.

In fact some teaching pros advocate moving the body backward during the swing, especially with the driver, and keeping the body weight and the head position behind the ball in order to generate more power.

stack and tilt golf swing

The Stack and Tilt requires almost the opposite in body position. That is, most of the weight is on the left side, say perhaps 60%, and remains there during the backswing. If you can picture a stick being placed in the ground that touches the golfer’s left hip, his left side should remain touching against that stick throughout the swing.

This would be for a right handed golfer, and the opposite would be the case for a lefty. If a player swings in such a fashion, his shoulders will be lined up vertically at the top of the backswing and "stacked" over the left hip (again for a right handed golfer). Since the body has turned and the player’s back is more or less facing the target, his spine will necessarily tilt somewhat.

So that is where the "Stack and Tilt" expression comes from. It would seem to be easier to just think about keeping the head in the same place and making the swing after setting up with about 60% of the player’s weight on the front foot.

How Does the Medicus Trainer Facilitate the Stack and Tilt?

The Medicus trainer helps a golfer who wants to emulate the Stack and Tilt swing. The Medicus Trainer has been specifically designed to break, or become unhinged, at six different parts of the golf swing if swing faults occur. Here is an article that explains all six of these mechanisms in detail: Medicus Driver. The Medicus trainer aids in attaining a Stack and Tilt movement specifically at the moment of ball impact. That is, if the golfer’s weight is positioned too far behind the ball at impact the Medicus trainer will become unhinged. This would be a pretty weird feeling to have the club break just as the ball is being hit. I doubt most golfers would want to repeat that type of thing, and in that way the Medicus almost forces the golfer to correct his swing fault.

Why Bother With All This?

The Stack and Tilt swing was promoted to facilitate hitting the golf ball squarely. If the player’s weight is to the rear, it is possible he or she will not be able to successfully transfer weight to the left side (again, for a righty). The result is an open or closed clubface at impact, depending on how the player’s body tries to compensate for the error. However, some teaching pros feel that the Stack and Tilt approach is not for everyone. Some high handicap players have too much weight towards their front foot already, and they also do not have the athletic ability to get through the ball squarely. For those players the stack and tilt is a bad idea.

Medicus Driver – Does Medicus Really Work?

Medicus Dual Hinge 7-iron Trainer

Medicus Dual Hinge 7 Iron Medicus is chosen by golf pros as top swing trainer club in the world. Try now! medicus golf club

Like most golfers, I had seen videos of the Medicus driver being demonstrated, mostly by PGA Tour pro Mark O’Meara. And like most golfers I wondered, "does that ridiculous looking thing really work"? One day I got motivated and went to the nearest golf megastore which has a driving range and a Medicus driver demo club.

The First Swings Come With Trepidation

The first sensation you get is that the head of the club is rather heavy. This feels funny at first, but what the heck, this is a trainer and not a club you will be using on the golf course.

golf swing sequence

The first couple of swings come with a certain amount of trepidation. It is hard to swing a club, especially a fairly heavy one, when you are expecting the thing to break into two sections at the hinge somewhere during your swing.

There is almost a feeling that the club head is flopping around and will hit you in the head. A couple of practice swings calmed the nerves a bit, and I teed up my first ball and swung away, half expecting some sort of disaster. As it happened, I managed to hit several balls without having the Medicus driver break down and become unhinged.

I then tried a few other normal drivers, and I must say that having used the Medicus driver beforehand seemed to make them feel light and easier to swing. And at least I knew there was no chance the regular driver would break in half on my downswing!

Designed to Break Down at Six Different Parts of the Swing

The Medicus driver is designed to break down when swing flaws are detected in six different parts of the golf swing. The first, and perhaps most important place the Medicus might break down, is on the initial backswing about a foot or so away from the ball. You need to take the club back low and slow or the Medicus driver will become unhinged.

You also need to take the club head back with your arms and shoulders and without any initial wrist cock. Many mid-high handicap golfers will jerk their driver back and immediately break their wrists. And they wonder why they hit poor tee shots and never improve their game, no matter how many hours they practice.

If you are a golfer who makes a Medicus driver break down on the initial backswing, you need to have one of these clubs to practice with. If you learn to take the club back low and slow and in one piece, your game will certainly improve. If this shoe fits then the Medicus driver is perhaps the best golf investment you will ever make.

Medicus Driver Break Points 2-6

The second place the Medicus driver might break down is during the backswing, about when the club head gets to waist high level. At this point the toe of the club should be pointing upward, and if it is too flat or too far over the front, the club will break down. Break point 3 is at or near the top of the backswing. If the club face is not square, the Medicus driver will again break down. Break point 4 is at the beginning of the downswing.

If the golfer breaks his wrist too quickly, almost like someone who is casting a fishing rod, the club will become unhinged. This will also occur if the golfer does not keep his arms in close to his body and moves them outward. Break point 5 is at impact. The swing fault here occurs when the golfer sways too much and moves his weight to the rear.

If the golfer’s weight is too far behind the ball at impact, the Medicus driver will break down. Lastly, the Medicus will become unhinged during the follow-through if the club does not stay on plane. If the follow through is flat and looks like someone who is swinging a baseball bat, the Medicus driver will again break down.

Do You Have Any of Those Swing Flaws?

Unless you have used a Medicus driver, you probably do not know for sure. But if you practice with a Medicus on a regular basis, you will know your swing is on plane and in good shape. OK, it won’t turn you into another Tiger Woods, but then again buying a super-expensive pair of running shoes won’t turn you into a great track star either.

What the Medicus driver can do, however, is give you the feedback you need to become the best golfer you can be off the tee. And playing well off the tee is important. Remember, the driver is normally used on 14 out of 18 holes in a round and is the second most used club in the bag, next to the putter. A good drive can make par look easy on a hole, while a bad drive can lead to disaster. Improvement in this phase of the game can help almost any player.

medicus dual hinge

This wonderful invention can definitely help you improve on your swing, and consistency as well. It is the best golf training accessory in the world if you go by numbers – over half a million players, beginners and pros alike use this tool to improve their golf skills.

The basic idea behind this device is to help you perfect the swing plane. The dual hinge technology is what helps you to achieve that, because it snaps back when you swing the club incorrectly. This immediately helps you decide if your swing is in fact executed the right way or the wrong way.

So you can correct yourself on the spur of the moment with the next swing you make. You can easily improve your swing using the medicus golf club, and when you come back to the course and use your regular clubs you will see your self striking the ball firmer, harder and more accurately as well.

It may sound like sales gimmicks, but this club really does help you swing better. The manufacturers provide a training video DVD with the club, so you know exactly how it is done. It also comes endorsed by some of the biggest names of the game like Hank Haney and Mark O’ Meara. It is also an accessory that you can practice with anywhere you may be, at home or on the driving range – you can practice your golf swing at all times. Golf Swing Trainers – Medicus Dual 2000 5-Iron Trainer

Medicus Dual 2000 5-Iron Trainer

My golfing partner got his dual-hinge club a couple of years ago now. He read the directions and began by working the club from takeaway to parallel or the half-way point of the backswing.

He learned that his takeaway was too fast and sudden. The hinge would break right away! He tended to jerk the club right at the start. He worked on that by relaxing his grip and focusing on creating a smoother start to the swing.

From there he was able to get the club back to about halfway (parallel to the ground) where the club would break tellinghim that the club was too vertical. He was cupping his wrist and getting way off plane at that point. He corrected this by relaxing the right hand and allowing the left hand to rotate up to the top properly while keeping the butt end of the club pointed toward the target line behind the ball.

Once he was able to consistently reach the top without the hinge breaking he began to work on the transition and downswing. This was wherehe learned he was suffering from the dreaded "over the top" downswing fault.

golf swing sequence

He would feel the hinge break just as he started the downswing. He began to work his lower body forward first with a slight kick of his left knee toward the target, then a gentle hip turn away from the ball at which point the upper body drops the club down a bit toward the right side. That allowedhim to swing from the top properly.

He was good from that point until the club would break again about the halfway point in his follow through. That break indicatedhe had "held on" too long not allowing the right hand to move over the top of the left hand in the through swing. Sort of a mirror image of the fault he had in his backswing.

The swing training system diagnosed his problems quickly and clearly. The best part is that he was able to improve his problem areas when the club identified them all in the same session. He even carried it withhim during our rounds (We didn’t care about the 14 club rule). He would swing that club to warmup on the first tee and occasionally during the round if the old faults began to creep back into his swing.

He is happy to give you his full and complete recommendation for the Medicus Training Aide. That dual hinge club sure works wonders.

The Medicus Training System has been around for a very long time now. It remains among the top sellers proving it has stood the test of time. No matter what kind of golfer you are or your golfing skill level, this system will help you practice perfectly. It will automatically prevent you from swinging incorrectly. You will get immediate feedback on your swing allowing you to know the feel of a proper golf swing.

You will learn how to swing with confidence resulting in long term consistent results on the golf course. My friend and playing partnerwas very satisfied with how he was able to take what he learned from the club to the course. You will too.

Medicus Golf Swing Aids Can Help You Play Golf Again

Medicus Driver

It looked like I was going to need some golf instruction. I seriously injured my shoulder last year in a gym accident and as a result had to have rotator cuff surgery. That was the end of my golf game for 10 months.

I began swinging the clubs after about 6 months to try to get some flexibility back. It was obvious that my previous good golf swing was gone and that I may have to give up the game of golf altogether.

I started to look for golf training aids to help me in my recovery. I have seen several the infomercials on TV about the Medicus over the last year. I have heard that it is the number one golf swing aid on the market.

The Medicus golf swing aid is known to be a great tool for beginning golfers. According to the Internet, many people find that it will quickly teach the proper swing plane and tempo. The medicus dual hinge shaft driver is especially popular with new golf enthusiasts as it allows you to practice just about anywhere. Compared to other hinged shaft trainers like the Refiner the Medicus cost twice as much. However, after watching the poor quality video that the Refiner website put forth I decided that if they could not make a decent video then they probably could not build a good club. So I bit the bullet and laid out 135 bucks for the medicus.

medicus driver

The Medicus driver arrived at my doorstep at noon and I was at the range an hour later. Almost immediately the loss of flexibility and range of motion became apparent. At the end of my hour long practice session I was exhausted and frustrated by the lack of accomplishment. The last 10 minutes I used my old Taylor driver to see if I had improved. I was slicing and my drive was still well under 200 yards. I knew I needed to spend a lot more time with my new golf swing training aid.

The Medicus golf swing aid and I had a regular morning and afternoon appointment for 10 days. After about 3 days my repaired shoulder and the muscles that had not been using correctly began to complain loudly.

My hands were also still breaking down, that is getting too far ahead. I was also too far inside at the top of my swing and I was starting my down swing a little too quick. The double or dual hinge was not letting me get away with anything. The Medicus golf swing aid was doing its job but I was obviously not. I was seriously beginning to wonder if I would ever have a good golf swing.

The Medicus and I parted ways for while did some more physical therapy and strengthening. Following the two week vacation where I watched instructional videos, the club and I headed back to the range for a workout. In about 10 minutes was able to slowly swing the club without tripping the hinge.

However when I tried to hit a ball with the medicus the bad old habits came back. Once I slowed everything down I was able to hit the ball about 100 yards without breaking the hinge. .

I spent the last 15 minutes with a Pinemeadow Tour Series BLOC driver that a friend asked me to try. I hit the ball straight right out to 190 yards with ease. I grabbed my old Taylor driver and also hit it out about 180 yards straight as an arrow. My slice was gone. Apparently the Medicus had given me enough muscle memory to correct this golf swing problem.

My shoulder was starting to loosen up and my strength was returning to the point that we played 9 holes of Golf a month ago without problems. I warmed up with the Medicus dual swing driver just before playing and then played a round of golf without slicing once. To me this was a miracle since I had slice problem ever since I started to play the game of golf. Even my iron game was improved especially with my 5 and 7 irons.

Since that day I have been able to play at least one round of golf each week and my drives are getting longer each round. I am sure that I probably would have given up the game of golf if I had not used a good golf swing training aid to get my good golf swing back. Actually now I have a better golf swing then before my accident.

I am considering the purchase of the Medicus 5 iron to further strengthen my game. Never the less I am really pleased that something as simple as a golf swing instruction aid could allow me to play golf again. I am playing better and if you play better the game is certainly more enjoyable. Even if you do not have an injury I think the Medicus golf swing aid is a good investment in improving your good golf swing and your game.

How to Swing Golf Club Perfectly

The Perfect Golf Swing: How To Perfect Your Swing

What is the perfect golf swing? Practically speaking, this is a golf swing which always works and is always predictable. The perfect golf swing sends the ball exactly where you want it to go. In the modern world of professional golf, the 3 players with the best golf swing are arguably Tiger Woods, Vijay Singh and Jim Furyk. In the previous generation, Ben Hogan was considered the player with the best swing. The one thing they all have in common – when they hit the golf ball, the face of their club is always square to the target at impact.

Once you have a predictable golf swing, you can start applying course management to your game. For us chess-playing geeks, that’s tactics and strategy. You can look at the course and figure out the best path to get the ball from where you are to where you want it to go. When you have a perfect golf swing, you can choose the safest path for your ball. The fewer strokes you lose, the better your golf score. The best players in golf do not just blindly hit the ball as far as they can. They use their brains to plan their shots.

What is the best way to develop the perfect swing? The first step is to get golf swing lessons from a golf pro. You want to find someone reliable and trustworthy that you can trust. He will teach you the correct fundamentals – how to correctly grip the golf club, the correct stance, the different elements of the swing, backswing, etc.

The second step is to get lots of practise in. Top professionals like Vijay Singh train their golf swing techniques up to 8 hours everyday, hitting thousands of golf balls. Frankly, nothing beats practise. When you practice your golf swing techniques, do not aim for perfection. Instead, aim for predictability. Know exactly where the ball will go when you hit it with the club.

Step number three – schedule remedial golf swing lessons with your pro. Whether it is two times a year or three times a year, just do it. Even when you think you are hitting the ball well, just do it. Why? Because sometimes you just need a second pair of eyeballs to look over your swing. You need someone competent whom you trust to make sure no bad habits have creeped into your golf swing. Your pro will help to make sure that your golf swing mechanics are still correct.

Are there any helpful training aids to improve your golf swing?

Using training grips regularly will teach you how to grip the golf club correctly. This is important – many players slice or hook their balls because of their incorrect grip.
Train with old style blade irons – because they have small sweet spots, they give you instant feedback when you fail to hit the ball square on. Modern clubs with large sweet spots can hide your mistakes, making it difficult to get to the next level.
Buy a camcorder – record your swings and analyze them. What is the most obvious mistake you make? Fix it. Then fix the next mistake. And so on, and so forth.
Train with Medicus training clubs – these training clubs are designed to quickly expose any mistakes in your golf swing mechanics.

Achieving the perfect golf swing is a wonderful feeling. The only thing better is to lower your golf handicap to 0.

Golf Swing Training Aids

Golf Swing Training Aids

Everyone is looking for the best golf swing training aid that will straighten our that slice or make the ball stop like a dime when it lands on the green. And are there a lot of them out there just waiting for you and your hard earned money.

You can find footprints that can help you stance, specially designed golf balls, contraptions that hold you still as you duplicate that perfect and many, mechanical devices. There is also a full compliment of videos, DVD’s, books and
diagrams, all guaranteed to shave shots off your score.

Some of these teaching aids are great and some are complete rip offs. The secret is to decide exactly what part of your game you need toimprove and then find a teaching aid that focuses on that particular golf skill. Then, use the darn thing.

cheap dual hinged medicus swing trainer

Not, just on your way to the course , but set up a daily schedule and follow it. Maybe its only for ten minutes, but that’s fine.
Simply put, golf swing training aids help your body memorize the correct muscle movement as you swing the golf club. The more you repeat the exercise, the faster your brain will retain the action and send the plan along to the appropriate muscle groups.

The PGA pros didn’t develop their great golf swings by accident. They all spend thousands of hours swinging all of their golf clubs is every possible situation they can experience on the golf course. That’s why is looks so easy on Sunday afternoon.

Most amateurs are interested in golf teaching aids that focus on the actual golf swing. However, a training aid that works for your driver, probably won’t help make that delicate chip stop a few feet from the cup. They are completely different golf shots and use different muscle groups. Therefore, it is best to shop for a training aid that specifically addresses the specific part of your golf game you want to improve.

Before buying, do some research. The best place for this is online. Google golf training aids and start to check out some of the web sites that show up in your browser. Don’t get drawn in by the hype. Remember, you are simply gathering information. The buying comes later. Is the site, just selling or do they offer helpful information about improving your golf game and specific reasons why their product will solve your problem. A great place to get information is the FAQ page. If the web site doesn’t have one or it is stuffed full of hype, go somewhere else.

Make sure the web site is not a one product wonder. Credible online golf training aid web sites offer a wide variety of golf teaching aids. This lets you know they are professionals and serious about their business. Finally, see if any "name" golf professionals endorse or even better, participate in developing and presenting some instruction with their training aids. The men and women have a reputation and simply aren’t interested in promoting a training aid that won’t help the golfer.

Golf swing training aid companies like Medicus have been around for years and offer tried and true products. Their patented double hinged golf training club is designed to break, or become unhinged, when the swing isn’t quite right. Using the Medicus clubs at the driving range or in the back yard is a great way to shore up a weak swing. Originally, Medicus offered a simple single hinged training club, but after some feed back from golf teaching pros the double hinged golf training club was born. It seems students could cheat a bit by twisting the club at the top of their swing. This fanning motion, kept the training club together, but certainly didn’t help improve the golf swing. Now there is one hinge for the back swing and a second for the down swing.

The Medicus golf training aid is one of our favorites. It may or may not help you swing, but it is certainly worth checking out.

Whatever golf training aid you choose, stick with it. Believe in it and above all practice with it.

medicus training golf club

What Are The Best Golf Swing Trainers And How To Get The Most Out Of Your Golf Swing Training Aids

When most people discuss golf swing trainers, they mean those modified hinged clubs made by Medicus and Momentus. These clubs are meant to help you train and perfect your golf swing mechanics. When you swing your club wrongly, these trainers will "break" apart.

Do these golf swing trainers work? Yes, if you know the theory of how to swing your golf club correctly. In addition, you need to know if you are using a one plane swing or a two plane swing. Tiger Woods and Vijay Singh use the one plane swing, while Jack Nicklaus and many other golf pros use the two plane swing. Which type of swing is that golf swing trainer designed for? If you have any doubts, write in to the manufacturer and ask them. Face it, these things are not cheap.

Companies like Medicus and Momentus produce golf swing trainers for both drivers and irons. Their golf swing training drivers are the most useful. Face it, you will use your driver 10% to 20% of your time in a round of golf, but use each iron only two or three times. Getting the golf swing trainer for the driver will give you the most bang for the buck. Another machine you may find useful is the golf swing plane trainer. This is a pretty bulky machine, available in some golf clubs and golf schools. Golf instructors sometimes use it to help train their students to master the correct golf swing mechanics. Used correctly, this machine will help you to master the correct tempo and swing your club in the correct plane.

By far, the cheapest and most useful golf swing training aids are golf club training grips. The training grip will teach you how to grip a golf club correctly. You will be surprised how many weekend golfers find their slices and other golfing problems disappearing once they learn how to grip their golf clubs correctly. Amazon is selling these training grips for $5 to $15. However, it is better if you get it from your local golf shops or golf schools, where they can help you get the correct fit. Unless you have a big budget to blow, you should get your putter fitted first. After all, you spend 30% to 40% of your time on the green. The next clubs to get fitted would be your wedges. Most golfers spend another 15% to 20% of their time chipping up to the green. Last is your driver.

Another excellent golf swing training aid is a video camera and tripod and plenty of cheap golf balls. Just spend some time capturing a video of yourself swinging your club at hundreds of golf balls and you will soon see your most obvious mistakes. When you can no longer spot any mistakes in your golf swing techniques, this is the time to schedule more advanced golf swing lessons with your local pro.

My favorite golf swing training aids are the video camera and training grips, followed by golf swing trainers for drivers. Combine these with some judicious help from your local golf pro, and you will quickly lower your golf handicap.
