My friend has been raving about this golf training aid called the ‘Medicus Driver’ so he let me try it out now I gotta get one. Does anyone know where I can buy one?

Follow Up from Bad Driving Skills…Looking for the perfect golf grip?

I know I am asking a lot of questions about my lack of performance on driving a golf ball. I am serious about becoming the best I can be in the sport. I know I will never be a PGA product; however, learning is never a bad thing. When I received my Medicus double hinged driver I also received an instructional DVD. Of course in the DVD they showed the club breaking like the wind blew it over. I know my swing is terrible; the club was not breaking on me so I loosened the hinges, did I do the right thing with this aid or should I stay within manufactures specification? I did not get hurt on the price of buying both aids. I first went to the Medicus website after I had read something about them then went to eBay and bought both for the price of one. I have also bought a grip trainer from wal- mart expected to arrive this week (considering they said it was in stock at my local store and when I went there no one knew what it was) The DVD said there are 3 different grips on a club. The grip I use know is my right hand pinky finger interlocked with my left hand forefinger. This grip feels comfortable and I like it, however, am I using the right grip? If I am not then could someone tell me (please explain like I am a 2yr. old) all 3 different grips? As far as golf clubs go, could you also explain loft and lie, (again like I am a 2yr old) I am just not grasping the concept of the 2 and I know they are important or else people would not talk about them. If it would be easier to trade this info in email, (considering the sheer volume of questions I am asking on this subject) just send me one by clicking on my Icon.

Golf follow up question on a my Bad Driving skills?

First let’s start by stating the absolute worst answer to my last question was chosen as the best (he must have voted for himself to get the points). The best answers came from Jeff E, and Greg. Guys if you are reading this I really appreciate your guidance!!! Next question, I have just bought a Medicus double hinged driver and double hinged 7 iron. Did I buy the right aids, and will it really help me develop a great swing? Also, if a person buys a set of clubs that are used, can and should they be tailored to him (since people try to make a big deal out of tailoring clubs)?

im sorry this isnt a question but i seen alot asking about the medicus driver. this is my first year of really playing golf. my slice was horrible. where i play golf is alot of houses so i needed to drive straight. when i received my medicus driver i found out i had 3 bad spots in my swing. i used it for lil over 20 minutes and my slice is gone. i am not a salesman for this club but just wanted to state that it is worth its money and it isnt a scheme. i take it in my bag with me when i go. always use it to warm up with before i use my real driver. hopefully this will ease your mind if your thinking about buying one. they really do work and im really satisfied.

Anyone used the Medicus?

Thinking about buying one to improve my driver swing. I have no real problems with iron’s, wedges or my putter. My driver, however, is the issue.

Has anyone used the Medicus and has been helped by it? Is the price tag worth it? Working on a Law Enforcement salary, I don’t want to blow money on something that will fall apart after a year.

Golf Hitting woods? – Medicus?

I just bought the medicus dual-hinged 5-iron and it really helped my iron play big time. I’m still having some trouble with my woods though and don’t really want to shell out for the medicus driver because I would think the swing is virtual the same between irons and woods just ball address.

Here’s the weird part I can hit my woods pretty good if I keep my feet together but when I address the ball normal then I screw up. I think it has something to do with my balance and tempo because that has been an issue with my golf game.

Any tips or drills to help me out? I tend to hit the ball fat (hit ground first) but getting little better at it trying to keep my balance I think the feet together drill is good any other ideas to help me with my wood swing? I’m a beginner so I know it it’s a learning process.

New Golfer? Fat Shots – Medicus?

I’m a new golfer just under a year. I battle fat shots like no other. I either hit a beauty (1 out of 10) shots or a totally awful fat shot where the ball goes no where and I have dug a hole I could bury a person in.

I think the problem is my shoulder and hip rotation and my follow through on the ball but i’m having a hard time mastering it. I seem to hit practice balls (wiffle or almostgolf) just fine but put a real golf ball in front of me and it all goes to hell. I practice a good grip and address (at least I think).

I just bought the medicus dual hidge 5 iron. I thought it would be magic because I was crushing practice balls in my back yard. Well I took it to the range I couldn’t hit anything with it however I did get some nice swings with my normal 9 iron and some fat ones as well my biggest problem. But as far as the medicus I couldn’t get a good shot off. I generally break at impact or on the follow through and everything else is fine. However, I can take several practice swings and it doesn’t break but when I’m trying to hit a real golf ball it breaks. This was my first time with the medicus so I’m not sure what to think.

Any tips? Should I just keep practicing with it and give it some time to do it’s work. I was disappointed but starting to think maybe I need to give it a month and practice swinging it daily.

Anyone else tried medicus and did it take them a few trip to the range or few weeks to get it down with some good results.

What is Medicus dual hinge driver?

Today, we have part two (of seven) of the Medicus dual hinge driver break point series, #2 is the toe up position.

To bring you up to date, the Medicus dual hinge driver is a golf swing training club that obviously has dual hinges. These hinges allow the training club to break down when you don`t follow the correct golf swing path.

You can take this golf training aid to the practice range and it will give you immediate feedback if you are not swinging properly. You can hit balls all day long and you will never know what mistakes you are making. With this golf training aid you will know immediately! It`s maybe the best golf swing training aid on the market today.

The Medicus dual hinge driver can be used indoors or out, at home, on the range, or on the course. It improves all aspects of your swing, from the takeaway to the downswing to the follow through.

There are seven break points in the golf swing that the Medicus dual hinge driver will check for and respond with a hinge break if you make a mistake. It is actually an odd feeling when you swing improperly and the club hinges. It`s like, what is that? You immediately know something is wrong and you can correct it right away! We started with #1, the take away, and are now are up to #2, the toe position.

Here are some common faults that appear in break point #2 (each of these faults would create a hinge break):

A. Weight transferred to the left instead of the right (reverse pivot).

B. Over-rotation of hands, causing the clubface to travel too far inside (not enough rotation is also a problem).

C. Continuation of B above.

D. Right elbow pushed away from the right hip and the club lifted outside the target line.

Any of these swing faults sound familiar?
