I am a ten handicapp and play in city league tournaments. I always tend to hit a power fade or just banana slice it if I lose it completely. my problem is making a small hachet like swing to make it fade. I took lessons at golf Tec and have a good idea where my fault is. I would like to know if The Medicus Dual Hinged driver would help in this situation? Have any of you ACTUALLY tried this club? If so…what was your thoughts and how long did you try it for…or still use it. Just looking for help like you when you need it. Thank you very much!!
will the driver dual hinged swing training aid help me add distance? I hit the ball straight with out a slice or hook but i was wondering if it would help me add distance.
I have been looking at the Medicus Dual Hinge 5-Iron and the SKLZ Refiner 6 iron. The refiner looks to be about the same thing as the Medicus, but it is much much cheaper. Do you know anything about the SKLZ Refiner. Will the iron improve my iron swing as well as my driver swing?
PS: Does anyone recommend any other swing training aid?
BREAKPOINT 3: BACK SWING & SETTING OF HANDS Beau Rials, Mike Bennett (Medicus Advisor, PGA Tour Instructor), Bob Koch (Inventor of Medicus Dual-Hinge Driver) giving the make or break points to golf swing. The ways that you can use your Medicus to improve your golf game. Shoulders continue to rotate around the spine while keeping the right knee flexed. The weight continues to transfer to the inside of the right heel. From the front view, the hands become fully hinged/cocked positioning the club perpendicular to the ground with the left arm extended and parallel. From the rear view, the club shaft should be pointed to the target line and the right arm should not be visible. COMMON FAULTS: A. Over extension of the arms and no hinging/cocking of the wrists. B. Weight has not transferred to the right side (reverse pivot). C. Shaft is too upright; right elbow is raised away from the body. D. Shaft is too flat, right elbow tucked too close to the body.
Anyone have experience using this driver to help them improve their swing? It is worth the money? I’m new to playign golf so in addtion to getting lessons, is this driver helpful? Thanks.

Beau Rials, Mike Bennett (PGA Tour Instructor), Bob Koch (Inventor of Medicus Dual-Hinge Driver) giving the make or break points to a golf swing. The ways that you can use your Medicus to improve your golf game BREAKPOINT 1: TAKEAWAY The takeaway is simply rotating your upper body slowly to the right, allowing hands, arms and shoulders to move away together. This is best accomplished by relaxing the arms and hands and allowing the bigger muscles of the body to begin the movement. As the one-piece takeaway continues, the hands begin to hinge vertically. COMMON FAULTS: A. Taking away the club too fast with hinging/cocking of the wrist. B. Too fast with arms only. C. Lack of a one-piece takeaway; opening the clubface with the wrist to the inside. D. Lack of a one-piece takeaway; swinging with the hands pushing the clubface away from the body.
We’ve all heard claims such as, “the greatest, guaranteed to lower your scores, etc. etc. etc…” Medicus knew that their products worked but wanted to demonstrate scientifically that their claims were accurate. The company went to TaylorMade Golf and their TaylorMade Performance Lab (located at Kip Puterbaugh’s Aviara Golf Academy ), the world’s most sophisticated, accurate and objective measuring and fitting system available today. While in no way agreeing to endorse Medicus swing trainers, TaylorMade agreed to perform testing on the Medicus Dual-Hinge Driver. Previously only available to Touring pros, the MATT System at the TaylorMade Performance Lab employs nine cameras that simultaneously measure and record every position of the player and their club in real-time throughout the swing, all within one tenth of a degree. The system instantly creates a three-dimensional graphic image of the golfer that enables the swing to be viewed from 360 degrees. As opposed to flight monitors that only measure what happens to the ball after impact, TaylorMade’s Performance Lab captures and measures the static set up position, start of the backswing, impact, all the way through to the finish in minute detail. Medicus went the extra mile to prove that a golfer can materially improve their swing and performance, utilizing the TaylorMade Performance Lab’s ability to measure the golf swing in a way that no other system can. “We wanted to be able to demonstrate unequivocally that using the …
