    5. Not many people know this, at one time, Jay was selected to the PGA’s national teaching committee. From what I know, this is like the top 20 teachers in the world.

    6. Jay. I used to get the distance wrong on long putts. So I made a device to measure how far my ball will roll with a 1 foot long backstroke on that green on that day. With that one measurement, I can adjust my backstroke length to any long putt I have during the round. I carry a calculator to make adjustments for distance, rise or fall and for grain. You don’t need “feel” and you eliminate a lot of practice time this way.
