Anyone have experience using this driver to help them improve their swing? It is worth the money? I’m new to playign golf so in addtion to getting lessons, is this driver helpful? Thanks.

Honestly, I found it to be rather worthless. I had no problem at all swinging it without the hinges breaking yet it didn’t transfer to me striking a ball any better whatsoever. It was a complete waste of money.
If I had it to do over again I would have put the funds towards lessons instead.
The driver is a really good way to improve your swing. I slice the ball about 50 yards to the right and when I bought it, it straighened out my swing and i gained 20 yards on my drive. Really good training aid!
The dual hinge driver is awesome!
When I first saw it in the pro shop I thought – this is weird…
But it really does force you to develop a smooth swing. If your accelerations and decelerations are not controlled, the club bends all over the place – which is quite funny… though it can get frustrating if you keep on doing it!
It is great to have a swing training tool that actually hits the ball aswell.
The way I got it working was trying my old swing first and then sorting out the kinks as the swing progressed.
So I’d start with the take away – if you’re doing it too fast or too slow then you’ll know! I took the time to just practise the take away until the club stayed straight regularly. Then it was working on the top of the swing where the club slows before being brought back down to the ball.
Tough spots where the top of the swing, bringing the club down, and the follow through. The medicus dual hinge forces you to be disciplined in your swing – at ALL stages.
And by maintaining a smooth movement, you’re maximising the momentum generated by the club head as it hits the ball – and this is what gets you real distance (i.e. more distance than you’d ever get by consciously exerting force to try and get the ball further).
The key is not to get too frustrated if the club keeps bending at first. Just be patient and persistent. It’ll pay off.
As with all things in golf, it will take time, but I’m now able to hit a good, solid drive more often than not. And it feels good too!
If anyone’s wondering what on earth is a dual hinge club then check out the top link below – there’s a small video of the club in action.
And the other link is to show that you can get a dual hinge iron club for practising with as well (though I haven’t used it as my irons were better than my driving
)
Whatever you decide, good luck with your game – remember to be patient and let the momentum do the work!
The Medicus Driver has been chosen by golf pros as the #1 swing trainer club in the world. It is the best selling golf training aid ever! It is used by over half a million amateur golfers and thousands of professionals and now it’s BETTER THAN EVER! Once you learn to swing the Medicus Driver without breaking it you know you are swinging in tempo and on plane. You’ll get rid of that slice and start hitting longer, straighter shots and start shooting lower golf scores!
Yes it works. I have one. I lowered my handicap by 12 strokes in a month after I got it. If you want a good deal on one email me. I will save you some money. I’ll send some pics if you want to see it.
