medicus swing training aid?

will the driver dual hinged swing training aid help me add distance? I hit the ball straight with out a slice or hook but i was wondering if it would help me add distance.

  1. Possible, but unlikely… The medicus is mainly for getting your swing on plane, not to increase distance. Since you are already hitting your club straight, i would say go more towards the momentus (weighted club) That way you build up more strength in your swing muscles. One thing i have found though is that when i switch from a weighted club to a normal one, my backswing speeds up. That is what i use the medicus for. I lossen the hinge up as much as possible so that it breaks easier that way if i pull back to fast it breaks and gets me to slow down, creating a better weight shift, and better contact, equating into more distance. I would say a combination of the two would be perfect. Good luck.
