Medicus PowerMeter – Unleash the Power – How to Set Up Your Medicus PowerMeter (Pt 2)

Medicus Power Meter – Because More Speed Means More Distance – Unleash the Power (Pt 2) How to set up your Medicus Power Meter Now we’re going to show you how easy it is to set the PowerMeter up, so you can measure your swing speed at impact. First thing you do is you press both buttons at once and hold them down. Then you let go. Then you’re going to see that this is set up for miles per hour. With the PowerMeter, you can actually set it up for English Metrics or miles per hour. So that means you can do it in Kilometers or miles per hour. Now I need to set the height of the player. So I press both buttons again. And I have it set up right now for a player that’s six foot tall. But if I want to change it, I could press either button. For this one I’ll press grip and you’ll see that it goes upward. If I press the club button, it goes downward. Now from here I press both buttons again and that sets the club length for the club I’m using. I have it set for a driver that’s forty-five inches, but if I have a club that’s longer than that — all I’m going to do is press my buttons. If I press grip it goes up. If I press club, it comes back down again. Once those are done, press them again you go back to zero. Now you’re ready to hit golf balls and see how your swing speed increases.

The Medicus Vision Track – Part 2: The Pieces

The Medicus Vision Track – Part 2: The Pieces Perfect Your Golf Stance www.medicus7.com The Vision Track has four very important pieces to it. 1. Stance Line This line is always parallel to your target line. 2. Alternate Target Line: The line that the sweet-spot of the golf club travels on. 3. Stance Line Indicator: Lets you know where your ball position is and you can use it relative to your upper body. 4. Traveling Arm: If your swing goes impact left, you’ll hit this traveling arm and that’ll tell you that it’s off plane. —- With the Medicus Vision Track golfers can actually SEE the line the sweetspot should be covering during the stroke for the first time EVER! Most golfers are confused about how and where the club moves during the golf stroke. The Medicus Vision Track gives the player a clear picture of what SHOULD be happening and almost immediately improves their Swing Plane by simply following the “Alternate Target Line.” The Medicus Vision Track is highly portable, easy to set up and gives immediate feedback on whether or not your stroke is on, or off, plane. Medicus Make or Break Point 5: Position at Impact

BREAKPOINT 5: POSITION AT IMPACT Beau Rials, Mike Bennett (Medicus Advisor, PGA Tour Instructor), Bob Koch (Inventor of Medicus Dual-Hinge Driver) giving the make or break points to golf swing. The ways that you can use your Medicus to improve your golf game. This is the key to getting distance when hitting the ball. The Medicus Dual Hinge Driver is unique in that it has a more sensitive angle design so that the least flaw will be detected at this point in the swing. This does not minimize the importance in maintaining proper positioning as seen through the mechanics enforced by the Medicus, but the Medicus Dual Hinge Driver has the enhancements to enforce your ability to get the greatest distance out of your swing. As the downswing unwinds, the arms and hands should be accelerating at a faster pace than the body. This must take place in order for them to get into a position where they can move together with the body through impact. The right knee momentarily holds its position as the arms accelerate. As the left arm comes back to parallel position with the ground, the right elbow should be very close to the body. Once again, the club shaft is pointing at the target line and the wrists remain fully cocked. COMMON FAULTS: A. Casting the club outward from the top, early unhinging/uncocking of the wrists. B. Club shaft is dropped to a very flat position caused by trying to swing from too much inside out.

Medicus Power Meter – Unleash the Power – Attaching the PowerMeter to Your Club (Pt 3)

Medicus Power Meter – Unleash the Power – Attaching the PowerMeter to Your Club (Pt 3) Now that we have our settings, I’m going to show you how easy this attaches to your club. You simply undo the latches. Making sure that the end that says “Grip” is at the top. Open the drawer, you then place the club in the little slot that’s allowed. And you place this right underneath the grip of the club. Now pull the top over, now simply close the grips. Now you’re ready to start making swings. 1-0-6. Not bad for an old guy, but I’ve done a lot better. You know if I was working on increasing my distance, the first thing I’d have to do is learn how to swing this club faster. This talk about what swings this club faster. The bottom line is the faster your arm swings, the faster the club is going to move. The faster the club moves, the faster the ball is going to come off the club-face and that results in distance. There are a couple of other key factors. I can swing my arm as fast as I want, but if I am not hitting the ball in the center of the club-face; in the sweet-spot, then it’s still not going to go anywhere. If I’m swinging off-plane, that’s going to result in toe or heel hit and neither one of those are in the sweet-spot. So that means you’re not going to go. So again, once again I am going to focus on how fast I can swing my arms in balance, to generate more club-head speed. More club-head speed means more ball-speed, more ball-speed means more distance. Chuck Evans Executive

The New Tour Swing, The Stack And Tilt Golf Swing

I recently came across a golf swing article called the Stack And Tilt Golf Swing that was very interesting and is becoming very popular. In fact, Golf Digest Magazine did an article on it as well, so it is definitely gaining some popularity. Golf swing instructors Mike Bennett and Andy Plummer have devised this swing method. They have a stable of PGA and Nationwide tour players, so they got attention very quickly. If I’ve peaked your curiosity, Mike Gray over at Life In The Rough golf blog has a follow up stack and tilt golf swing article. Mike does a great job in comparing (see sample picture from article below) two top-level players…and pointing out the subtle but definite differences in the so-called modern golf swing and the stack and tilt golf swing. The player comparison involves Number One in the world Tiger Woods and a stack and tilt golfer named Will MacKenzie.

                      Golf Gadgets: The Medicus

Philip Reed, the host of “Golf Gadgets”, reviews the Medicus swing trainer. The Medicus’s hinged shaft makes it frustrating to swing at first, but it teaches you the right motion that will have you hitting fairways and greens. The Medicus is the prescription for slices and hooks.

What Can Help Your Game More? New Golf Equipment or a New Golf Swing?

What can help your game more? New golf equipment or a new golf swing? To find out, we asked Graham, a single-digit handicap to hit a series tee shots with his expensive titanium driver. Graham averaged over 230 yards on this tee shots, but he tended to hook the ball left. Or he would hit a high push to the right. As a result, only 1 out of the 5 tee shots found the fairway. Next we asked Graham to swing the Medicus, which instantly revealed that his swing was flawed. The Medicus made it clear that he was rushing his take-away, plus it showed that Graham was out of position at the top of his back-swing. Once Graham was aware of these swing flaws, he knew what he needed to work on. It took a few minutes, but thanks to the Medicus Graham was able to correct his mistakes. And soon he was swinging beautifully — in tempo and on plane. So then we asked Graham to hit some more tee shots, but instead of hitting with his 0 titanium driver; we handed him an old-fashion beat-up persimmon driver. With its small wooden head and old steel shaft, it seemed unlikely that Graham would hit it very far or very straight. But with his first swing, Graham hammered the ball — 260 yards right down the center of the fairway. In fact, after using the Medicus 4 out of his 5 tee shots with that wooden driver went over 260 yards and all four found the fairway. An amazing improvement! Then we moved our camera to a spot 280 yards from the tee box and asked Graham to hit one last drive. We thought

Medicus Power Meter – Unleash the Power – Introducing the Power Line (Pt 4)

Medicus Power Meter – Unleash the Power – Introducing the Power Line (Pt 4) Now one of the questions I always get when I tell players to swing their arms faster is they say, “Well, how do I do that?” Fortunately at Medicus Golf, we have a training aid line design specifically to do that, it’s called our Power Line. The Power Line has three (3) models in it. 1) The first one is called the Power Max, it’s a heavy-weighted hittable driver. 2) The second one is a weighted-hittable lob-wedge 3) And the third one is a weighted-hittable 7-iron.
