Golf Top Tips with Hank Haney: Fixing Your Slice with the Medicus

Golf Top Tips with Hank Haney: Fixing Your Slice with the Medicus www.medicus7.com Ninety percent of the people that play golf tends to slice their drive to the right. The most common mistakes that they make is they take the golf club too much to the inside on their back swing, they lift it up and they come down onto the ball over the top and too steep of an angle on approach, which causes the club face to open. The Medicus can help you fix that mistake in your swing. Because if you take the golf club too much to the inside with the Medicus, it breaks down. And then when you make your loop over the top, it breaks down again. Keeping the Medicus straight will help you to get that golf club to swing on the correct plane. Swing the Medicus and keep it straight and you’ll fix your slice forever.

Stack and Tilt Golf Swing Part 1: Stack and Tilt In a Nutshell stackmyswing.com Some of you’ve learn we need to keep the arms and hands outside our body. We have to keep the shaft and hands and arms in front body. Well what is that? With the Stack and Tilt we’re talking about keeping our arms connected. You could feel something like that. Mike Bennett and Bob Koch Stack and Tilt with Medicus

With the Stack and Tilt golf swing, the majority of your weight is on the leading foot which gives you more control as the club hits the ground. Less weight is shifted to the back leg, so it remains straight. This means fewer topped shots because the weight forward makes the approach to the golf ball steeper and the swing is flat and more rotational. At Break point number five, we find Mike Bennett and Bob Koch demonstrating the Stack and Tilt golf swing method using the Medicus Dual-Hinge Driver. ========================= Mike Bennett: Another spot where the club will break is break point number five. And Bob broke the club as he went pass impact. If the weight of your body is too far back, go ahead and demonstrate that Bob. If you notice that he is leaning on his right foot there, Beau. Beau: Yep. Mike Bennett: That will cause the club to overtake or break. Which will cause some missed hits. You see that all the time when people are falling back on their right foot as they try and hit the ball. Beau Rials: Ok, Bob. Go ahead. Bob Koch: So I should feel like in the center, to the left? Mike Bennett: Absolutely, more centered. Beau Rials: So you should not be rushing at this point? Mike Bennett: No.. no need to rush. Bob Koch (swings Meicus driver): Oh yeaaa. Beau Rials: Stayed completely intact all the way through. Mike Bennett: Very good. Beau Rials: Again, make or break point number five, it’s at the bottom of the swing. Don’t rush it. Mike Bennett: Right. Keep the

Medicus PowerMeter – Unleash the Power – Because More Speed Means More Distance (Pt 1)

Medicus PowerMeter – Swing Faster. Hit Farther. Because More Speed Means More Distance – Unleash the Power (Pt 1) The Power Meter is small, portable, light-weight and easy to set-up. You just attach it to your club, make golf swings and you’ll get a read out of how fast your club was moving through impact. Now that’s the most important key — how fast is this club moving through impact is going to determine the initial ball speed that your ball takes off. So the faster the club is moving at impact; the more ball speed you create, the more distance you create. And again, as you go through this and you keep hitting shots, you can monitor your results. Is my swing increasing? And that’s what you want to do. For every mile per hour of swing speed increase that equates to 2.6 yards in distance. Medicus Make or Break Point 4: Down Swing

BREAKPOINT 4: DOWN SWING & AT THE TOP Beau Rials, Mike Bennett (Medicus Advisor, PGA Tour Instructor), Bob Koch (Inventor of Medicus Dual-Hinge Driver) giving the make or break points to golf swing. The ways that you can use your Medicus to improve your golf game. At the top of the back swing, your shoulders should be rotated 90 degrees to the target line with your hips at 45 degrees. The right knee remains flexed and the left knee points towards the golf ball. From the rear view, the club should be parallel to the target line with both hands under the shaft for support. The clubface is in a semi-skyward position and the right forearm should be perpendicular to the ground. COMMON FAULTS: A. Weight has swayed to the outside of the right foot. B. Weight has remained on the left side. C. Shaft points right of the target line and the left wrist is cupped, which opens the clubface. D. Shaft points left of target line and the left wrist is bowed, which closes the clubface.
