i would like to add distance and i don’t really a slice or a hook to speak of but what i do have is a problem with the ball falling out of the sky with my drives which would you suggest. i was thinking of getting the power hitter with a medicus 5 iron
unorigen : What i meant by : it falls out of the sky, is that the ball seems like a rocket but after about 210 yards the ball doesn’t gradually descend, it drops like a 60* wedge
yea these are those balls why ?

derek, are these the range balls you were talking about in your previous question?
As I said the last time you asked this question it’s most likely the range ball that causes this result. They are designed to be durable because they take so many mis-hits. Therefore, you’ll get a burst of speed off the club face and the ball will go a couple hundred yards and then drop out of the sky. The dimple pattern is designed for a range ball so the ball has a limted range, not only carry distance but also limited hook and slice movement. It also makes it easier for the ball picker at the range because they don’t have to cover as large an area as they would have to for a regular golf ball.
Try your own ball and I’ll bet your problem will go away.
The Medicus dual-hinge is only good for certain swings where as the power hitter works for any swing. I would go with the power hitter and one of the short momentus irons for indoor practice with a mirror. Don’t get the Medicus, its not all its cooked up to be, but all the Momentus clubs are great!
i have both and i use them both a lot haha.
i like using the medicus to make sure my club sets in the right posistions, if you can make a full swing without it breaking your swing is pretty nice
i use the power hitter during the winter alot to build up club head speed
it helps you to swing with your body better to hit it further
i just try to whip the club inside during the take away with it
so they both have ups and downs, get both if you can, you will have them forever
These are 2 completely different clubs built for 2 completely different purposes and each of them works great for their intended purposes. If you are strictly looking for something to lower your launch angle, neither of these will likely change that. The things that will effect that is your loft, ball type, ball location at address, and tee height. Your best bet is to spend the money on lessons instead. That way, a professional can see your swing and tell you exactly what is wrong and how to correct it.
